Day 1 Cambodia: Elephant Nature Park Office Stay

I arrived in Cambodia on March 14th at night with on of my mentor's from Loop Abroad, Jane Cassie. After over a day and a half of traveling we felt worked! We decided to sleep at the Elephant Nature Park office in Siem Reap so that we had access to cold showers and beds. In the morning we planned to travel with our group to the Cambodian Elephant Nature Park, (ENP), to begin our project organized through Lek, (the founder of the ENP organization).
Upon arrival, Cambodia felt hot and very humid. We were traveling during on of the hottest periods of the year so we expected this weather to persist throughout the entire trip. The showers at the office were freezing cold, but felt nice after the long trip! The office lacked any air conditioning and so we found ourselves sleeping in swim suits on the tile floor of the ground floor! While it sounds uncomfortable, after 36 hours on planes and airport floors, sleeping was no problem.
